We're seeking two committed educators to step in for maternity and sick leave coverage, with immediate start dates and the potential for extended placements depending on internal hiring timelines. Full-time positions are available, offering a chance to make a significant impact throughout the school year.

Role A involves working with intermediate students (grades 3–5) focusing on behavioral caseloads—five students who are not fully self-contained. This role emphasizes effective behavioral interventions and classroom support, without physically demanding duties. Role B centers around elementary students (K–2), with a caseload of four young learners requiring life skills instruction. Experience with similar populations is highly preferred for both roles.

For educators with versatility, there is an exciting path to transition into Role C starting in November, involving high school students requiring comprehensive behavioral and life skills support. This particular assignment could last through the end of the academic year, providing continuity for both educator and students in a nurturing high school environment (caseload: five students).

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Valid Special Education teaching credentials
• Prior experience in behavioral and/or life skills-focused classrooms
• Adaptability and proven ability to support students across various grade levels
• Strong communication, classroom management, and team collaboration skills
• Familiarity with implementing IEP goals and differentiated instruction

Primary Duties:

• Develop and adapt lesson plans to meet students’ unique needs
• Deliver targeted instruction in both group and one-on-one settings
• Track progress and maintain accurate documentation
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary staff and families
