Key Responsibilities Respond promptly to on-call dispatch requests and arrive at designated locations within the specified timeframe. Maintain a visible and professional security presence at assigned sites, including entrances, lobbies, parking areas, and perimeters. Monitor for unauthorized access, suspicious activity, safety hazards, and policy violations. Control access and verify credentials, visitor logs, or authorizations as necessary. De-escalate incidents professionally and calmly. Address disturbances, medical emergencies, or evacuations following established site protocols. Communicate effectively with supervisors using designated communication tools such as radios or phones. Complete thorough incident and activity reports as required. Qualifications A valid Texas Security Guard License is mandatory. Must be able to respond quickly on short notice to various locations. Previous experience in a security role is preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are vital. Ability to maintain composure and professionalism in high‑pressure situations. Responsibilities Conduct regular patrols of assigned premises utilizing CCTV surveillance systems and physical patrols to monitor for suspicious activity or security breaches. Manage access control systems to authorize entry for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors while keeping accurate logs. Respond rapidly to security incidents by applying conflict de-escalation techniques and managing conflict situations professionally. Write comprehensive incident reports documenting security breaches, accidents, or unusual activities with precision and clarity. Assist in performing background checks on new staff or vendors during the onboarding or vetting process. Execute emergency response procedures including CPR, AED (Automated External Defibrillator), Taser deployment (where applicable), and fire safety protocols. Support law enforcement agencies during investigations or emergencies by providing necessary information and assistance. Perform manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting when required for equipment or securing premises while adhering to safety standards. Conduct routine inspections of security equipment including CCTV cameras, access control systems, and alarm systems to ensure optimal functionality. Deliver excellent customer service by addressing visitor inquiries professionally while maintaining a secure environment. Qualifications Proven experience in physical security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of surveillance technology including CCTV systems and access control mechanisms. Certification in first aid, CPR, AED operation, and familiarity with emergency response procedures. Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely and effectively; physically capable of heavy lifting when necessary. Excellent incident report writing skills with attention to detail and clarity. Skilled in conflict management, conflict de-escalation techniques, and collaboration with law enforcement. Knowledge of security regulations, compliance standards, and loss prevention strategies. Demonstrated ability to perform patrolling duties diligently in various environments. Valid certifications for firearm handling or Taser use are advantageous but not mandatory.
