Finance Coordinator

Position Overview The finance coordinator oversees accounts payable (a/p) and accounts receivable (a/r), reconciles accounts, assists controllers with daily finance operations, and works with staff members through finance-related inquiries and questions. Responsibilities Processes all Fraternity, Theta Foundation, and FCS accounts payable invoices with manual entry and data file uploads to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies Prepares Fraternity grant documentation Reconciles PNC company credit cards monthly Provides backups for the Kappa Alpha Theta Fraternity Housing Corporation (FHC) Provides backup administration support including answering phones and doors at Theta headquarters Collects and enters W-9 information from vendors Supports the finance department with receivables (deposits and invoices) Ensures compliance with tax regulations and other financial reporting requirements related to accounts payable Answers inquiries from vendors, suppliers, and employees, as well as research discrepancies Assists controller(s) as needed Competencies Microsoft365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.) Strong attention to detail and organization Eagerness to learn new information and technology, and willingness to learn and develop new processes Strong understanding of accounting principles Excellent verbal and written communication skills Requirements, Education, & Experience Bachelor’s degree in finance, information technology, accounting, or two to three years of experience with A/P and A/R Salesforce, Excel, and AccuFund or Sage Intacct experience is preferred Position is Indianapolis-based; 5 days a week in the headquarters office is required #J-18808-Ljbffr Indyhunger
