Job Title: Electrical Assembly Technician

Work Location: Gilbert, AZ 85233

Duration: 05 Months+/ Contract

Note:

·        1 st Shift/ 2 nd Shift

·        9/80 schedule

Ø  Week 1: You work four 9-hour days (Monday–Thursday) and one 8-hour day (Friday).

Ø  Week 2: You work four 9-hour days (Monday–Thursday) and get Friday off

·        10% shift differential at time of hire for 2nd shift

JOB DESCRIPTION:

·        Our team in client is looking for an Electrical Assembler to join them.

·        You will report to the Manufacturing Supervisor and will have an onsite work schedule in Gilbert, AZ.

Responsibilities:

·        Perform soldering in accordance with IPC-J-STD on printed circuit boards, printed wire boards, and circuit card assemblies both through hole and surface mount applications.

·        Assemble chassis and final units using circuit cards, wire harnesses, soldering/crimping tools, and precision instruments.

·        Perform high-reliability soldering and crimping on complex sub-assemblies, including board-level repairs and jumper wire installations.

·        Work with multi-pin connectors and assemblies to meet stringent government and customer specs.

·        Interpret assembly drawings, BOMs, and electronic work instructions.

·        Follow ESD protocols and maintain certification standards for high-reliability soldering.

·        Collaborate with engineering to troubleshoot, rework, and improve testing procedures.

·        Maintain cleanliness and traceability documentation for controlled programs.

Requirements:

·        5+ years of hands-on experience in electrical assembly and soldering.

·        Expertise in crimping, medical device assembly, board-level repair, and electronic units.

·        Familiarity with J-STD, IPC 610/620 standards, and torque/crimping tools.

Preferred:

·        NASA 8739 soldering certification.

·        Experience with avionics components (e.g., circuit card rework, coating, installation).

·        Ability to read and work directly from engineering drawings.

·        Strong interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.

Education:

·        High school diploma or equivalent formal training.
