Job Title: RN Level 2 - Long Term Care Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Med/Surg RN Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 3x12.0 Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years in long-term care setting License: RN License (New York only) Certifications: BLS (American Heart Association only) Must-Have: - Two years of experience in long-term care - RN License (New York licenses only accepted) - BLS certification Description: This position involves caring for geriatric residents in a long-term care environment. You will be responsible for providing direct patient care, conducting assessments, and maintaining documentation. Implementation of the nursing plan of care is essential. You will oversee the care provided by LPN and CNA colleagues. Medication administration is a key responsibility. Candidates should possess excellent communication skills, flexibility, and the ability to delegate tasks effectively. Experience in wound care is preferred, although there will be no trach care or acute care needs in the facility.
