Our client is looking for a Mainframe Lead , Dallas/Austin, TX (Hybrid) below is the detailed requirements.

Job title: Mainframe Lead

Location: Dallas/Austin, TX (Hybrid)

Mandatory Skills: CTRL, Python, GitHub Expertise.

Job Description:

Bachelor's degree in business, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related fieldwith minimum 5+ years software development / automation engineering.
Built production-grade automation, not just scripting.
Modular code, testing, logging, error handling, maintainability.
Branching, PRs, code reviews, CI/CD practices.
Created and supported workflows for validation, testing, deployment, and promotion.
Demonstrated real-world use for coding, refactoring, troubleshooting, and productivity.
Experience converting manual operational processes into automated, auditable workflows.
Prior Control-M preferred, but strong automation engineers with scheduling aptitude are acceptable.
Strong incident ownership and communication skills
