Job Description:

The Registered Nurse in the GI Lab will assist physicians during GI and Endoscopy procedures. The role involves working in a fast-paced procedural environment, handling admissions and recovery, with an emphasis on GI and Telemetry experience. Procedural nursing is highly preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Assist physician during GI and Endo procedures.
• Manage admission and recovery of patients.
• Handle 30-60 cases per day in a fast-paced environment.
• Might float to Skokie, Evanston, and Glenbrook facilities.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in GI Lab/Endoscopy, PACU, or Telemetry.
• Active IL license, CPR, ACLS certification.
• Epic experience required.
• Ekg tested at 80% or higher is mandatory.
• Proficiency with Olympus Scopes and various endo supplies.
