Supply Planner I

Work Shift DAY (United States of America) Summary of Duties Responsible for coordinating and managing production schedules to ensure timely completion of manufacturing work orders. Essential Functions Performed Prepares schedules and ensures timely completion of work orders for manufacturing processes. Releases and prints work orders for prepared schedules. Interfaces with Supervisors, Material Handling and Purchasing and resolves concerns regarding schedules, part shortages, expedites, ECN approval, etc. Problem solves inventory issues by substituting parts and adjusting pick lists. Meets daily with Supervisors regarding scheduling issues. Prepares an expedited list for sterilization preparation and warehouse personnel. Collects data to prepare reports for the Manager, Production, Planning, Purchasing and Inventory Control. Mentors with Supply planner II. Performs a variety of other tasks and related work, as required. Essential Physical/Environmental Demands Lifting – Not to exceed 50 lbs. – local practice may apply. Writing Sitting Standing Bending Visual acuity Color perception Depth perception Reading Field of vision/peripheral Summary of Minimum Qualifications Education and/or experience equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree. A minimum of 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment. Demonstrated computer skills; preferably spreadsheets, word processing, and other applicable software programs. Experience with manufacturing work orders on Teach Teams or Value Stream Structure. Demonstrated experience with tracking and reviewing reports.
