Now Hiring: Service Parts Sales Associate – Louisville, Kentucky 

FleetPride is seeking a Heavy-Duty Parts Counter Sales Associate to provide customer service and parts sales support by phone and in person. This role focuses on helping customers identify and obtain the correct heavy-duty parts based on their needs while maintaining profitability and following company procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist customers in locating and ordering heavy-duty parts by phone or in person.
• Suggest related parts to support full-service solutions.
• Retrieve parts from central warehouse or branch locations.
• Determine and apply proper pricing according to company guidelines.
• Process warranty and defective part returns.
• Complete approved charge sales and credit transactions.
• Handle emergency special parts orders when necessary.
• Answer customer questions regarding products, pricing, and availability.
• Maintain current product knowledge by reviewing catalogs, price lists, and bulletins.
• Keep counter and display areas clean, organized, and customer-friendly.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of sales experience preferred (heavy-duty automotive parts sales a plus).
• Intermediate computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Strong skills in active listening, communication, and customer service.
• Time management and organizational ability.
• Persuasive and service-oriented mindset.

Work Environment:

• Inside and outside conditions with possible temperature variation.
• Exposure to dust, vibration, vehicle noise, and minimal chemical hazards.
