Hourly Pay Range: $31.00 - $38.00/hr, depending on experience and qualifications.

FLSA Status : Non-Exempt
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 1st and 2nd Shift available

Job Summary:

Eastridge Workforce Solutions is hiring a Senior Process Sustaining Engineering Technician to support a leading medical diagnostics manufacturer. This hands-on role will focus on troubleshooting, maintaining, and improving production equipment within a GMP-regulated environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and electromechanical equipment issues.
• Diagnose failures, perform root cause analysis, and minimize production downtime.
• Support automated equipment, equipment installation, qualification, and continuous improvement activities.
• Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality to resolve equipment and process issues.
• Maintain accurate GMP maintenance records, work orders, and equipment documentation.

Requirements:

• Previous GMP-regulated manufacturing experience required.
• 5+ years of manufacturing equipment maintenance, engineering technician, or related experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical and electromechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with preventive/corrective maintenance and automated production equipment.
• Experience with pneumatics, sensors, motors, PLC-controlled equipment, or similar systems preferred.
• Medical device, pharmaceutical, biotech, or diagnostics manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to work onsite in Carlsbad on 1st shift.
