Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing and supply chain industry, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented PRODUCT CONTROL ENGINEER 1 (SUPPLY CHAIN) to join their dynamic team. Job Title: Product Control Engineer 1 (Supply Chain) Location: Austin, TX Pay Range: $30 to $34/Hr. on W2 What's the Job? Support manufacturing specifications and Bill-of-Material (BOM) throughout the product lifecycle. Coordinate the planning, tracking, scheduling, and delivery of early prototype samples for new product implementation and sustaining products. Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as product engineering and supply chain to resolve materials shortages, backlogs, and schedule interruptions. Establish sample schedules, labor loading, and capacity requirements based on engineering plans and production specifications. Lead process improvement projects to enhance efficiency and productivity on small to medium scales. What's Needed? Experience with material planning, logistics, and scheduling. Strong attention to detail and ability to learn quickly. Excellent organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with local and overseas teams. Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Process-oriented thinking with a background in prototyping electronic components or familiarity with semiconductors and supply chain processes is a plus. What's in it for me?
