You want to be an important member of a strong team of other makers who take pride in their work and support each otherWhat You'll Be Doing (% of Time)Assembling the WSWH Walls accordingly to set production standards and ensure product meets specification using power tools and equipment. Perform quality inspections to drawings and specifications per written procedures. Operate a forklift to move raw material and finished goods as needed. (75%)Read through work orders to determine specifications, such as materials to be used as well as product dimensions and tolerances. (15%)Maintain building station area clean and organized making sure all tools and supplies are returned to home locations after use. Perhaps some of the following would be helpful too:High School Diploma or GED equivalent requiredSimpson Strong-Tie Powered Industrial Truck Certification required (will certify at hire)1 year of production, warehouse, and/or logistics experience requiredEquipment: Operate forklift, reach truck, order picker, and electric pallet jack.Safety: Ability to prioritize safety by demonstrating safe work practices and promoting a safe work environment.Ability to Work Independently: Follow both written and oral instructions, including safety guidelines, work instructions, and company policies.Attendance: Able to consistently demonstrate reliable, punctual attendance in accordance with our attendance policy.Communication Skills: Speak in the most effective way to relay information to all departments and at all levels within the organization. Listen and ask questions to ensure understanding.Quality Standards Knowledge: Demonstrate an understanding of company quality standards and company quality control processes.Problem Solving: Able to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations where only limited standardization existsTeamwork: Ability to work with other team members to accomplish group goalsResults Focus & Initiative: Ability to multi-task and take initiative in a challenging, fast-paced environment.Customer Service Skills: Apply customer service principles and processes on the job and with othersReading Comprehension: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.Travel RequiredThis job requires 0 % domestic travel.Work Status & LocationThis full-time, non-exempt position is located in Stockton, CA. The employee is occasionally required to sit. This role operates large equipment while standing for approximately 8-12 hours, regularly twisting and bending in a repetitive motion.
