About This Role
At CELC, we believe every child deserves a warm, nurturing, and engaging environment to learn and grow. Our team works together to create a positive, fun, and safe atmosphere where children can thrive. We’re looking for a caring, dependable Classroom Aide to join our staff and support our teachers in providing high-quality early childhood education. The Classroom Aide will assist the lead teacher in creating a supportive classroom environment, helping with daily routines, supervising children, and ensuring a safe and engaging learning space. This role is ideal for someone who loves working with young children and enjoys being part of a collaborative team.
What You'll Do- Support the lead teacher with classroom activities and lesson preparation
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment
- Supervise children during playtime, meals, and transitions
- Encourage positive behavior and social development
- Assist with diapering, toileting, and other personal care as needed
- Communicate effectively with staff, children, and families
- Follow all center policies, licensing regulations, and safety procedures
- Experience working with young children (preferred)
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Positive, patient, and nurturing attitude
- Must pass background check and meet state licensing requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
CPR/First Aid certified
Medication/Epi certified
