Berk International is a leading manufacturer of specialty paper products, operating high-speed converting and packaging equipment in a fast-paced production environment. Our operation focuses on safety, quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement while producing products used by customers across a variety of industries.

We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to lead our 2nd Shift operation. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for overseeing machine operators and packers, ensuring production goals are met, maintaining quality and safety standards, and supporting employee development on the production floor. The ideal candidate will have previous supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment and be comfortable leading teams in a high-volume production setting.

Schedule:

• Monday – Thursday: 6:30 PM – 4:00 AM
• Friday: 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM

Location: Boyertown, PA

Salary: $60,000 - $85,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications

Status: Full-Time, On-Site

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead production employees during 2nd shift operations
• Ensure production goals, quality standards, and safety expectations are met
• Monitor production activities and address operational issues as they arise
• Coach, train, and support employees on the production floor
• Coordinate with Maintenance, Quality, and other departments to support efficient operations
• Conduct shift meetings and communicate priorities and expectations to employees
• Complete production reports and required shift documentation
• Maintain a safe, organized, and productive work environment
• Support continuous improvement initiatives throughout the facility
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of manufacturing supervisory experience
• Experience leading hourly production employees
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Strong computer skills
• Experience with production reporting
• Lean manufacturing experience preferred
• Mechanical troubleshooting experience preferred

• Employees receiving clear direction, coaching, and accountability throughout the shift
• Strong communication and coordination with Maintenance, Quality, and other departments
• Accurate and timely completion of production reporting and shift documentation
• A well-run shift that operates with structure, consistency, and accountability

This is a hands-on leadership role where the supervisor is expected to take ownership of the shift and ensure that daily operations run safely, efficiently, and predictably.
