Senior Technician

Service TechnicianCollaborate with the Client Services Team to schedule and dispatch to customer sites for break/fix requests, preventative maintenance as well as small move, add, and change (MAC) work. Responsible for documentation & reporting of findings & solutions for each service job performed. Strong communication skills & discipline, internally and externally, are necessary to be successful at providing an excellent customer experience. Collaboration with the Client Services Team is vital and critical to the success of this position.ResponsibilitiesReview service ticket requirements and plan how to perform itCoordinate equipment & company vehicle resources as required to effectively manage service ticketsReview, modify and red line job documentation for assigned tickets when applicablePerform service work in a professional manner and in accordance with company established best practicesMaintain a professional appearance and attitudeMaintain a clean and orderly jobsiteAdhere to all applicable safety rules and regulationsReview materials options and verify count accuracyFacilitate the delivery of staged materials to the jobsiteCommunicate & coordinate with the Client Services Team regarding schedule, open items, & job statusCommunicate with the Client Services Team on the needed job components and materialsCommissioning of trade specific systems including, but not limited to:Device & cable testingSystem functionality testingSystem settings/configurationsFirmware updatesUser acceptance testingSystem documentationOccasional light travel may be requiredThis position requires on-call shift workWork at required heights utilizing ladders, scaffolding, lifts, or other.Work in confined spaces as necessary.Required QualificationsMinimum; 5 - 6 years of work experience as a Service Technician with a security integrator with manufacturer certificationsIndustry experiences working with access control, intrusion and CCTV (Genetec, Software House, Avigilon, Milestone)Must carry a current Lenel OnGaurd CertificationValid US driver's license with acceptable recordAbility to pass pre-employment screeningOn call shift work requiredPreferred QualificationsVideo Surveillance: Avigilon, Hanwha, Exacq, Honeywell, Bosch, AxisAccess Control: LenelS2, AMAG, Honeywell, Open Path, Lenel, RS2, HirschIntrusion: DMP, Honeywell, BoschIntercom: Aiphone, VikingWork experience in the financial market of banksEngineering or estimating skillsKnowledge of how to program systemsPhysical DemandsIn general, the following physical demands are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, climb, walk, sit, push, pull, squat, crawl, and stoop.
