Job Posting: Sales Trainee - Dallas, TX, USA Job Summary The primary responsibilities of the Sales Trainee are to learn the organization's products, services, and policies and to develop the needed knowledge and sales skills to become an effective sales representative. Presentations and sales of the company's products to new account prospects and established accounts, either in the showroom, at the account's location or at the sales functions such as trade shows and sales markets. This could be done independently or with the assistance of a more experienced sales representative. Involved with the company's event team and attend special events and assist with the sales efforts of the event in any way possible. Responsible for attending all company's sales meeting and to stay currant on all aspects of sales business. Responsibilities Present to and service new and established accounts whenever possible, either independently or with the assistance of a more seasoned sales representative Attend special events when asked and support all sales efforts at the event in any way possible Acquire a complete understanding of salesforce.com (web based sales automation software) Power BI, and be able to access and understand all other sales reports Go into customer's stores' and merchandising product, set-up fixtures and display all (POS) point of purchase material Develop knowledge and skills of an effective sales representative by learning the organization's products, services and policies Have knowledge of all current product lines Be able to put together or "hang" the seasonal sample line Experience 2 years of Related Professional Experience Skills Strong communication skills (oral, written, presentation) Strong organizational and process management skills Energetic self-starter Ability to resolve problems and make decisions Leadership Competencies Foundational Leader Global Agility – Be open and adapt quickly when things change Purposeful Integrity – Do the right thing, even when no one is watching Strategic Foresight – Think ahead and plan for what's coming Customer Centric Innovation – Find better ways to serve our customers Urgency for Impact – Act fast and get results that matter Bold Accountability – Take ownership of your work and results Empowered Collaboration – Work well with others to get things done Why Kontoor Brands?
