About the Role

The Company is in search of a Head of Finance & Administration to lead its financial and administrative operations in a strategic and mission-aligned manner. The successful candidate will be responsible for directing the organization's financial strategy, accounting, and administrative functions, including budgeting, forecasting, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. This role involves owning the annual budget process, preparing various financial reports, and conducting in-depth analyses to support decision-making. The Head of Finance & Administration will also oversee the organization's human resources, technology, facilities, and other administrative functions, and will be a key partner to the President & CEO, leadership team, Board of Directors, and Finance Committee. Applicants for the Head of Finance & Administration position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a preference for a CPA or advanced degree. A minimum of 7-12 years' of progressive accounting and finance experience, particularly in a nonprofit setting, is required. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in nonprofit financial management, including financial reporting, budgeting, and audit coordination. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential, as is a commitment to the organization's mission and values. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is necessary, and familiarity with QuickBooks and Salesforce is a plus. The role demands a collaborative, low-ego leadership style and the ability to lead a diverse team through process improvement and organizational change.
