Staff Nurse - PEDs RN, Royal Oak, MI

Job Description: Provide professional nursing care utilizing the nursing process, incorporating patient-family-centered care principles. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care needs while partnering with patients and families. Administer and monitor chemotherapy for pediatric oncology patients. Perform technical procedures including port access and IV placement with competency. Document patient records accurately and timely, ensuring concise and clear entries. Develop and implement educational strategies for patients and families. Lead in professional development, mentorship, and actively participate in departmental activities.

Shift/Hours: 8am - 4:30pm

Remote/on-site/hybrid: On-site

Environment: Pediatric oncology

Compliance/submission notes: Ensure timely submission of timesheets through VNDLY platform.

Education / Licenses Needed

RN License (State of Michigan)
BLS (American Heart Association or ARC)
PALS (AHA)
Pediatric Oncology APHON certification
Port access and IV skills certification, ACLS, TNCC, ENPC, NRP, C-EFM, and other advanced certifications as specified

Benefits
