CDCA Case Manager

Shift: M-F with a weekend rotation built in

Hours: 8-4:30, 9-5

Pay range: $40-$50k/annually

The Role Itself

• Conducts bio-psychosocial assessments under supervision for clients dealing with addictions.
• Provides group counseling and teaches coping mechanisms.
• Identifies issues, creates goals, and develops treatment plans.
• Leads group/individual sessions as necessary and attends treatment teams when required.
• Prepares written reports and case summaries in accordance with program standards and professional ethics.
• Ensures timely documentation meeting facility and regulatory standards dealing with Substance Abuse and Mental Health standards.
• Facilitates safe discharge plans, coordinates care with referral sources and community partners.
• Fully trained as a BHT/MHT, assists as needed per manager/director/supervisor assignments.

Education:

• High School Diploma
• CDCA certification, and 40 hours of education in chemical dependency
• Must be 21yrs or older.

License:

• CDCA Certification.
• Chemical Dependency Counselor Assistant
• Peer Support Specialist

Ethan's Story:

The care and compassion in this community is inspired by the life of a sweet boy who lived, loved and was loved by many, but is no longer here to see the sun rise again.

Like so many others, Ethan had his share of struggles; family hardship, difficulty finding his place in this world and trouble realizing his life's dreams and aspirations. The confluence of his life circumstances led him to depression and addiction, which ultimately took his life at the tender age of twenty-two. Ethan Crossing Recover seeks to honor his life by providing for others, which he did not have; a family system that understands, supports and is there for the lifelong journey of sustainable recovery.
