Job Description:


- Join a team dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders!
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to develop tailored rehabilitation plans that adhere to all regulatory and clinical standards.
- Utilize standardized assessments and evidence-based practices to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Monitor patient progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans, documenting everything accurately in the clinical record.
- Collaborate effectively with families, caregivers, and healthcare providers, offering consultation and counseling on speech disorders.
- Communicate consistently with supervisors and health team members regarding patient progress and challenges.
- Create and present comprehensive discharge summaries as per regulatory requirements.
- Participate actively in patient care conferences, rehabilitation meetings, and other required gatherings.
- Engage in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Support and supervise Clinical Fellows or Student Speech-Language Pathologists, contributing to their growth and development.
- Adhere to ASHA and state-required practice acts, including the code of conduct and ethics in all professional activities.

Qualifications:


- 1 year of Speech-Language Pathologist experience required (New grads welcome with Level II experience).
- Long-term care (LTC) or skilled nursing facility (SNF) experience preferred.
- Current Missouri State License and CCC certification required.
- 3 years of active CCS preferred.
- References accepted with your application.
