Mechanical Journeyman

General Motors is seeking a Mechanical Journeyman to support automotive manufacturing operations within our Skilled Labor team. In this on-site role, you’ll install, maintain and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems that keep our production lines running safely and efficiently. You’ll read blueprints and schematics, perform preventive maintenance, and use precision tools and welding/fabrication skills to repair or fabricate components. Working closely with engineering and production, you’ll drive reliability improvements while upholding GM’s culture of safety, integrity, inclusion and innovation, and contribute to the future of mobility.
