Software Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help build and scale both product-facing features and the underlying systems that support a fast-growing, AI-driven platform. This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys working across the stack while also contributing to the reliability, scalability, and performance of core systems. You will operate at the intersection of product development and platform engineering, owning features end to end while also contributing to the infrastructure, services, and tooling that enable the broader engineering team to move quickly and build with confidence. This is a hands‑on role in a fast-moving environment where strong individual contributors help shape both systems and technical direction. Key Responsibilities Build and ship full stack product features across frontend interfaces and backend services Design and develop APIs, services, and systems that support core product functionality Contribute to shared infrastructure and internal tooling that improves developer experience and engineering velocity Improve system reliability, performance, and scalability across production environments Implement monitoring, logging, and observability practices to support high-quality systems Support deployment, testing, and release workflows to ensure consistent delivery Investigate and resolve production issues, performance bottlenecks, and system failures Collaborate with product, AI, and engineering teams to deliver scalable, user‑facing functionality Contribute to architectural decisions and long‑term technical direction Qualifications 5+ years of software engineering experience Experience building and operating production‑grade applications Strong backend fundamentals and experience designing APIs and distributed systems Experience working across the stack, including building user‑facing features Strong debugging and problem‑solving ability Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and modern deployment workflows Experience building scalable, reliable systems in production environments Experience working in early‑stage startup environments Comfortable owning ambiguous, high‑impact problems from concept through implementation Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams Nice to Have Experience building internal tools or developer platforms Background in platform, infrastructure, or reliability‑focused engineering Experience working on systems with high availability or performance requirements Exposure to AI‑driven products, data platforms, or document‑based workflows Experience engineering in financial services or fintech environments Base salary starting at $165,000+ Equity participation Onsite work environment in New York City High‑impact role with strong ownership in a fast‑growing team #J-18808-Ljbffr
