Parts Sales Representative

Bucklin Tractor & Implement Co. (“BTI”) is looking for a highly motivated Parts Sales Representative to join our team in our Pratt location. The Parts Sales Representatives’ primary responsibility is to provide exceptional customer service while supplying customers with timely & accurate information regarding accounts, products, rates, & services offered.BTI is a premier agriculture and farm equipment dealership serving central and western Kansas. Since 1944, BTI has valued the opportunity to create long-term relationships with our customers by giving them the best customer service available.Responsibilities:Support customers by:Properly identifying needed items using parts catalogs or microficheAttempting sales of additional needed or related parts or accessoriesLocating and obtaining merchandise, if it is a “stocked” itemFilling customer’s want for “out-of-stock” or “non-stocked” merchandiseMaking certain that the technician or customer receives the proper part on time, as promisedProperly tracking lost salesCharge out merchandise by:Looking up current prices by part numberCompleting required documents before disbursing partsEntering all necessary information in inventory control systems recordsDistribute special order parts by:Recording and entering special ordersFollowing through to installation or delivery to customerMaintain shelf stock by:Returning all unsold merchandise to stockNoting discrepancies between inventory records and shelf quantitiesReceive warranty parts by:Ensuring that defective merchandise is properly tagged with date and correct numbersPlacing material in warranty parts bin area as requiredKeep counters clean and neat by:Keeping counter tops and the areas behind/under counter clean, clear of parts and/or debrisMaintaining displays in counter area, as requiredPerforming housekeeping duties in counter areas as requiredHandle inbound and outbound freightPerform related or other tasks, as assignedExperience, Education, Skills and Knowledge:Basic data entry/keyboarding skillsBasic parts and machinery knowledgeAbility to use the John Deere Parts Catalog computer applicationAbility to work in a team environmentAbility to lift items weighing up to 75 lbsHigh School Diploma or equivalent experienceBenefits:401(k) w/ company matchHealth and Dental InsuranceLife InsurancePaid Time OffTraining and Development OpportunitiesCompany Paid HolidaysEmployee DiscountsEmployee Assistance Program #J-18808-Ljbffr Bucklin-Tractor-
