Supply Planner II

Job Summary The Supply Planner II is responsible for pre-season planning at the vendor level and in-season execution and optimization of wholesale finished goods inventory plan which address constraints while maximizing service levels and wholesale inventory turns. This role makes buy recommendations at style/color level to support the purchase order creation process. The Supply Planner II reviews inventory levels and product availability to ensure targeted inventory and service levels are met. Essential Functions Description Develops finished goods inventory plans using the Demand Planners'monthly demand forecast. Assists in creating and maintaining monthlyprojected buy plan (Forecasted Load Plan) to support global inventorydemand. Reviews global supply needs and suggests style/color buy quantity by month to support demand forecast while maximizing inventory turns,minimizing risk and maintaining average inventory levels, while adhering toproduction minimums. Collaborates with Sourcing, Manufacturing and liaison offices on factory capacity needs, production start dates, product lead times, and other supplychain variables to ensure inventory supply plan. Tracks inventory levels against corporate inventory plans and shipping forecasts. Identifies excess inventory and speculative inventory andcommunicates product availability. Monitors inventory targets based on thedemand plan and desired service levels. Summarizes and presents data and solicits feedback in forecast and planning meetings in partnership with Supply Planning management. Assist in creation and maintenance of reports, including data extraction and validation from ERP systems. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field required. Minimum three (3) years ofprofessional experience in supply chain planning; or equivalentcombination of education and experience with international andapparel/footwear industry preferred. Priorexperience in key supply chain functions including forecasting,production/capacity planning, logistics, and distribution, and priorexperience using information systems associated with demand andsupply planning, ERP/MRP or related. Any equivalent combination of experience and education which clearly indicates the ability to perform theessential functions of the position may substitute on a year for year basis. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Knowledgable in SAP Strong attention to detail. Ability to speak, read and write English, including writing clear and concise business communications. Ability to run preformatted reports, creating simple queries, and data validation. Strong understanding of forecast confidence, risks, and opportunities. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills. Ability to make recommendations supported by data. Strong Microsoft Excel skills including ability to create charts and pivot tables; use of formulas such as sumif, vlookup, and similar. Travel - Yes, up to 5% percent of the time Base Salary: $81,900.00 - $86,500.00 yearly The salary range posted for this position represents the anticipated hiring range for this role. Offers are made within this range based on factors such as relevant experience, skills, education, internal equity, and market considerations. This is the hiring range for the position; compensation above the posted maximum is not typically available at the time of hire. Work Location: Hybrid This role is based in the Portland, OR area and follows a hybrid work model. Employees are expected to reside within a reasonable commuting distance of our Portland office and generally work on-site four days per week, with flexibility based on business and team needs.
