Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Director of Pharmacy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A community hospital in Oklahoma is seeking an experienced Interim Director of Pharmacy for an immediate opening. This leadership role is ideal for a pharmacist with recent management experience who can step in and provide operational oversight while ensuring regulatory compliance and high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the pharmacy department
- Supervise and support pharmacy staff, including pharmacists and technicians
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards
- Lead departmental meetings and collaborate with hospital leadership
- Monitor workflow efficiency and implement process improvements
- Support clinical and operational pharmacy services as needed
Qualifications:
- Active Oklahoma Pharmacist License (required)
- Minimum of ~2 years of recent inpatient pharmacy management experience
- Strong understanding of hospital operations and regulatory requirements
- Proven leadership and team management abilities
Work Hours:
- Day Shift: Monday – Friday
