Mainframe Developer
RIT Solutions, Inc.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL, CICS, JCL, and DB2.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Troubleshoot and debug mainframe applications to resolve issues and enhance performance.
- Ensure compliance with coding standards and best practices for mainframe development.
- Perform code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers.
- Create and maintain documentation for applications and processes.
- Monitor system performance and implement improvements to optimize efficiency.
