Forklift Driver

Ideal Apparel is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Forklift Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately picking freight orders and moving inventory. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring timely and efficient order fulfillment for our customers. Description Responsibilities: Operate stand-up reach forklifts and order pickers safely and efficiently Load and unload pallets, freight, and other materials from trucks and containers Move, stage, put away, and retrieve palletized inventory throughout the warehouse Pick inventory from warehouse racking using a stand-up reach truck or order picker Verify product quantities and locations when moving or receiving inventory Assist with palletizing, wrapping, labeling, and preparing freight for shipment Organize and maintain inventory and storage locations throughout the warehouse Keep aisles, loading areas, and workspaces clean, organized, and free of hazards Perform basic pre-shift inspections of forklifts and other material-handling equipment Report damaged products, inventory discrepancies, equipment issues, or unsafe conditions to management Assist with general warehouse duties, including receiving, shipping, picking, packing, and inventory work, as needed Follow all warehouse safety procedures, forklift operating rules, and company policies Work collaboratively with warehouse team members and supervisors to complete daily workload efficiently Requirements: Must be 18 years of age or older Previous forklift experience is required Hands-on experience operating a Raymond stand-up reach truck and order picker is strongly preferred Ability to safely operate a stand-up reach forklift in warehouse aisles and around pallet racking Forklift certification preferred; candidates must be able to complete company‑required forklift evaluation and certification Previous warehouse, distribution, fulfillment, or material‑handling experience preferred Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform physical warehouse work for extended periods Comfortable working in a fast‑paced warehouse environment Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately follow inventory locations, quantities, and instructions Dependable attendance and punctuality Good communication and teamwork skills Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Commitment to safe work practices and proper equipment operation Ideal Apparel is an equal opportunity employer.
