Estimated Hourly Pay: $65.00 - $67.44 (travelers hourly estimated gross based off 40 hours with per diem/stipends) Estimated Weekly Gross Pay: $1,040.00 $1079.00 Job description & requirements Specialty: Physical Therapist (PT) Discipline: Therapy Start Date: 9/18/23 Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 8:00am-4:30pm schedule Saturday and Sunday (weekends always, no exceptions) Compensation: $1,040.00 $1079.00/week (travelers weekly estimated gross with per diem/stipends) Employment Type: Travel Contract Location: Peoria, IL 61605 Physical therapists (PTs) are health care professionals who diagnose and treat individuals of all ages, from newborns to the very oldest, who have medical problems or other health-related conditions that limit their abilities to move and perform functional activities in their daily lives. PTs examine each individual and develop a plan using treatment techniques to promote the ability to move, reduce pain, restore function, and prevent disability. In addition, PTs work with individuals to prevent the loss of mobility before it occurs by developing fitness- and wellness-oriented programs for healthier and more active lifestyles. Physical therapists provide care for people in a variety of settings, including hospitals, private practices, outpatient clinics, home health agencies, schools, sports and fitness facilities, work settings, and nursing homes. State licensure is required in each state in which a physical therapist practices. Requirements Facility Requirement: Traveler must have permanent address outside 50-mile radius of Peoria, IL 61605 (address must be included in traveler's profile). Local candidates may be considered if you meet all the requirements. Experience: Must have experience working in a hospital or rehab units. Traveler must have completed 1- 2 year of acute care or inpatient rehab experience. Preferred if traveler has completed at least one 13-week contract. Licensure and Certification: Traveler must have IL Physical Therapist Licensure BLS must be certified through American Heart Association ONLY Education Graduated from accredited school. Reference Needs 2 references from recent work environment/assignments (supervisor or manager only). Benefits Weekly Pay
