About the Role

As a Dental Hygienist, you will be at the forefront ofdental care, ensuring our patients receive top-notch oral hygiene services.Your expertise will contribute to their overall health and well-being whileworking in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform dental prophylactic services and educate patients onmaintaining their oral health.
• Remove tartar and stains, ensuring every patient leaves witha brighter smile.
• Build rapport with patients, making them feel comfortableand cared for.
• Use equipment to take x-rays, apply fluoride treatments.
• Work closely with dentists and other health professionals tocreate comprehensive treatment plans.

What We're Looking For

Knowledge & Skills:

• Strong understanding of dental hygiene practices and OSHAstandards.
• Proficiency in dental office software (Microsoft Word,Excel, PowerPoint).
• Exceptional communication skills and a friendly demeanor.

Qualifications:

• Associate's or technical degree in dental hygiene.
• 1 to 3 years of related experience as a dental hygienist (orequivalent).
• Current State of Illinois Dental Hygiene License.

Physical Demands

This position requires light physical activity, includingthe ability to lift up to 20 pounds and perform tasks that require bending,standing, and walking.

Work Environment

You'll work in a clinical setting where you'll encounterpatients of all backgrounds. Your role will sometimes involve managing anxiouspatients, so empathy and patience are key.
