Job Description
Position Overview:\nThe Sales Manager is a hands‑on leader who knows how to inspire a team, close deals, and keep the scoreboard moving in the right direction. This role fuels team development, helps turn bold ideas into revenue‑producing reality, and builds a strong sales performance layer by layer - just like great corrugate.
\nGrow sales and profit margins on current and new business by handling a few strategic select accounts while managing the efforts of external sales & internal design teams and responsible for growing the division’s business. Work collaboratively with production, customer service, estimating, purchasing, and design to drive customer satisfaction and production efficiency. Work closely with the General Manager to develop strategic plans to grow the business. This is a non-commission flat-salary role.
\nResponsibilities:\n\n
This position would be responsible for growing sales and profit margins on current and new business by handling a few strategic accounts while managing the efforts of external sales & internal design teams also responsible for growing the division’s business. Work collaboratively with production, customer service, estimating, purchasing, and design to drive customer satisfaction and production efficiency. Work closely with the General Manager to develop strategic plans to grow the business.

- Work 5 days splitting time between the office, supervising and assisting the sales team in the field, and making sales calls \n
- Responsible for managing sales volume with existing customers while emphasizing growth and profitability through new customers \n
- Travel with territory managers to help cultivate, create, and maintain strong customer relationships \n
- Work with territory managers, customer service, design, production, and estimating to improve margins \n
- Develop and follow through on goals and forecasts \n
- Establish pricing \n
- Facilitate sales meetings and customer functions \n
- Support and implement price changes \n
- Identify and train territory managers \n
- Participate in the management team to set goals and make decisions \n

Educational Requirements:
\nMinimum BSBA required
\nPreferred Skills:
\n- \n
- 5+ years of proven sales management with a record of overall sales growth \n
- Strong business acumen \n
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills \n
- Highly motivated, self-directed individual with a technical aptitude and problem-solving abilities \n
- Working knowledge of Office 365, Excel, Word, SharePoint, and PowerPoint \n
- Ability to lift 50lbs. and use hands to demonstrate corrugated products \n
- Valid driver’s license in good standing with a clean driving record \n
Physical Demands:

- Demonstrate the ability to progressively lift up to 50 pounds between pallet height and 36 inches. \n
