About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med/Surg/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience required License: Active nursing license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Previous charge experience preferred Patient ratio experience of 6:1 required Experience with specified charting systems required Description: MS/Tele position available for night shifts. Option for 36 or 48 hours per week. Every other weekend is required. First-time travelers are welcome to apply. Successful candidates must possess BLS and ACLS certifications. Preferred qualifications include charge experience and community hospital experience. Skills required include managing ports, BiPAP/CPAP management, and blood product administration. Other essential skills are telemetry monitoring, IV management, and wound care. Travelers are expected to float to similar units based on facility needs. Candidate must be able to complete necessary compliance requirements promptly. All applicants must display proficiency in caring for adult patients. Daily patient census is approximately 12 with a total of 16 beds available. Quality interdisciplinary support is provided on the unit. Candidates should have experience in a fast-paced environment with varying patient diagnoses.
