Occupational Therapist (OT)

Role Overview: Responsible for coordinating and delivering occupational therapy services, focusing on patient conditions and health diagnoses. Develops and implements individualized treatment plans, evaluates patients through various methods, and adjusts interventions based on ongoing assessments. Provides direct therapy in different settings, ensuring strategies align with patients' physical, emotional, and intellectual capabilities. Key Duties Demonstrate knowledge of age-specific factors from infants to geriatrics. Gather data, evaluate patients, and develop personalized treatment programs. Use activities to promote health and achieve treatment goals. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members. Prepare documentation including evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes. Participate in program development and contribute to departmental initiatives. Engage in ongoing professional development and supervise interns or students. Qualifications & Skills Active occupational therapy license in the practice state. Effective communication skills and visual acuity. Preferred 1-3 years of clinical patient care experience. Ability to work collaboratively within a team and uphold safety and confidentiality standards.
