Job Description:
We are looking for a long-term, reliable, hardworking Prep & Line Cook to join our small Lebanese restaurant team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced kitchen, takes pride in preparing quality food, and works well with others. Current Food Handler Certificate required.
Schedule:
- Monday & Tuesday: 9:30 AM – 3:00 PM
- Wednesday & Thursday: 9:30 AM – 2:30 PM
- Optional Fridays based on business needs
- 4–5 days per week (approximately 24–30 hours)
Responsibilities:
- Prepare ingredients for daily service (chopping, slicing, portioning, and food prep)
- Cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen
- Stock and organize prep stations
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Assist with receiving and storing deliveries
- Work efficiently as part of a small team and help where needed
Qualifications:
- Previous kitchen, prep cook, or line cook experience required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable
- Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
