Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A hospital pharmacist position is available in a behavioral health setting with a contract term through June 13th. This role offers experience in clinical pharmacy within a specialized psychiatric environment, supporting patient care through accurate medication verification and management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform medication order checking and verification to ensure accuracy and safety
• Conduct medication control processes in compliance with hospital policies
• Serve as the sole pharmacist, overseeing pharmacy operations during business hours
• Collaborate effectively with pharmacy technicians and clinical staff for seamless workflow

Required Qualifications:

• Licensure as a Pharmacist in the state of Mississippi
• Experience in behavioral health or psychiatric pharmacy preferred
• Familiarity with medDispense and Azalea Health electronic health records (EHR) systems
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently as the solo pharmacist onsite

Location:

• Summit, Mississippi

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, no weekend shifts
