Step into a rewarding contract position near Marysville, CA, supporting students as a dedicated Paraprofessional with sign language expertise. Two full-time roles are available for the 2026-2027 school year—one at the elementary level and one at the middle school level. In these positions, your primary focus will be facilitating communication for students who are deaf or hard-of-hearing and contributing to a welcoming classroom atmosphere. If you possess proficiency in American Sign Language beyond just finger spelling and basic signs, your talents are highly valued here.

Key Qualifications:

• Demonstrated fluency in American Sign Language, including conversational and educational vocabulary
• Experience as a Paraprofessional or in a school support setting strongly preferred
• Ability to build positive rapport with students, teachers, and staff
• Passion for supporting diverse learners and creating equitable classroom opportunities
• Adaptability to work across elementary or middle school environments

Responsibilities:

• Provide real-time sign language interpretation and communication support in the classroom
• Assist students in understanding lessons, classroom directions, and peer interactions
• Support instructional activities under the guidance of certified educators
• Contribute to a respectful and empowering learning space for all students
• Maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and a collaborative approach
