Multifamily Office Administrator (Administrative Staff)

Overview The Office of Multifamily Housing (Multifamily) is seeking a Multifamily Office Administrator who will support the Director of Multifamily Housing with office operations and administrative tasks. Responsibilities Assist the Director of Multifamily Housing with operational needs of the office, including maintaining office calendars. Act as the point of contact to receive inquiries and respond on behalf of the Director. Manage business functions to relieve the Director of administrative tasks, including administering and authorizing expenditures and purchases and submitting supply requests, purchase orders, and travel requests for staff. Oversee maintenance of fiscal controls (e.g., reviews Checking Account Daily ACHs and connect with project submissions). Assist Director with presentation development. Attend meetings, create agendas and scripts as needed, and take and maintain notes and documents for meetings. Notes Location: OHFA offices located at 2600 Corporate Exchange Drive, Columbus, OH 43231. Qualifications Preferred Qualifications Previous work as an assistant for executives, directors, other senior level management staff, or professors. OHFA’s programs serve first-time homebuyers, renters, seniors, and other populations with special needs. The Office of Multifamily Housing increases and preserves affordable rental housing units in Ohio through programs that provide financial assistance, such as housing credits, low-interest loans, and grants to affordable housing developers. The office administers Ohio’s Low-Income Housing Tax Credit program and monitors projects to ensure regulatory compliance and ongoing financial viability of multifamily developments.
