Location: Dearborn, MI

Pay Rate: $28/hr

Employment Type: Contingent with potential pathway for hire

Schedule: Days; availability required between 6:00 AM - 7:00 PM

As a Phlebotomist, you play a vital role in delivering an exceptional patient experience while ensuring accurate specimen collection and processing. As a float position, you'll support multiple locations, bringing flexibility, professionalism, and expertise wherever needed to help maintain quality patient care and laboratory operations.

What You'll Do

• Collect blood specimens through venipuncture, capillary, pediatric, and geriatric collections
• Perform specimen processing and preparation for laboratory testing in accordance with established procedures
• Verify patient identification, demographic information, and specimen labeling accuracy
• Obtain patient signatures following venipuncture to confirm specimen labeling verification
• Maintain accurate records and required documentation
• Travel to and support multiple patient service center and in-office locations as needed
• Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a safe and professional environment
• Perform clinical and forensic specimen collection duties following established procedures
• Promote a positive image with patients, clients, employees, and the public

What We're Looking For

• A current, up-to-date resume
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Three years of phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections
• Minimum two years of Patient Service Center experience preferred
• Excellent phlebotomy skills and specimen handling experience
• Strong professionalism and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision
• Customer service experience in a retail or service environment preferred
• Keyboard and data entry experience
• Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred
• Phlebotomy certification preferred
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and willingness to travel daily between locations
• Flexible availability for weekends, holidays, overtime, and changing schedules based on business needs
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume environment
• Ability to meet compliance requirements
