We are looking for a skilled Device & Process Integration (PI) Engineer, to join our team supporting SMFAB. This engineer will be an invaluable part of the team and in this role, you will drive the integration and development for existing and future analog & CMOS nodes, interfacing and communicating with ATD (Advanced Technology Development), Process engineering, Parametric Test engineering, Product development, Quality and Manufacturing groups across the organization. This position provides the opportunity to drive continual improvement at all levels.Primary responsibilities will include:Utilize technical knowledge of semiconductor device physics to enable competitive technology through process and parametric improvementsDrive process and device improvements through characterization, test, design of experiments, data analysis and simulationOwnership of technology parametric performance, parametric Cpk improvementsParametric test dispositions including root cause determination for scrap or outliers, definition and evaluations of experiments to improve processesProduct flow creation/reviewShort flow and test chip developmentPartnering with the RET team to validate OPC and make improvements, as appropriateCross functional team leadership to support the transfer, development, qualification, and manufacturing of advanced analog and CMOS technologies.Work with multiple process, integration, product, quality, reliability, packaging and test engineers to achieve goalsWork closely with the product groups to identify and optimize the process performance to meet critical final device parameters to enable game changing products in the marketThe person performing this role must be capable of planning effectively, driving schedules, meet critical deadlines on multiple tasks in parallel, lead technical discussions in their area of expertise, and work effectively across organizational boundaries. They must be able to clearly communicate project status and actions. Additionally, they must be able to interface with multiple organizations and work well on a diverse team to accomplish goals.QualificationsMinimum requirements:Masters in EE, Chemical, Material Science Engineering or semiconductor specific: solid state physics, applied physics or quantum mechanics5 years of experience working in a semiconductor factory with specific experience in advanced CMOS semiconductor devices (90nm and below) and analog technologies5 years of experience in process integration and devicePreferred qualifications:Ph.D. in EE, Chemical, Material Science Engineering or semiconductor specific: solid state physics, applied physics or quantum mechanicsDemonstrated experience and ability to plan effectively, drive schedules, meet critical deadlines on multiple tasks in parallel, lead technical discussions in their area of expertise, and work effectively across organizational boundariesDemonstrated technical and practical understanding of advanced CMOS/analog semiconductor device physics and integration Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environmentDemonstrated experience and ability to plan effectively, drive schedules, meet critical deadlines on multiple tasks in parallel, lead technical discussions in their area of expertise, and work effectively across organizational boundariesAbility to establish strong relationships with key stakeholders critical to success, both internally and externallyStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to quickly ramp on new systems and processesDemonstrated strong interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functionsAbility to take the initiative and drive for resultsStrong time management skills that enable on-time project deliveryAbout the organizationTI does not make recruiting or hiring decisions based on citizenship, immigration status or national origin.
