Join us and be part of an extraordinary team, where your skills will be honed and your ambitions will be nurtured.ResponsibilitiesSupport the Asset Management team in the development and execution of strategic asset plans intended to maximize portfolio value and report performance results to senior leadership.Manage the complex capital stack specific to the portfolio associated with this roleAssist with all financing/transactional needs of the portfolio, including, but not limited to: LP Buyouts, Refinancings, Recapitalizations, Dispositions, and LIHTC ResyndicationsPerform analysis of property financials on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.Research partnership agreements, financing documents, regulatory agreements, tax returns, and other source documents as needed.Coordinate communications and manage requests from investors, lenders, governmental agencies, and other stakeholders.Forge strong relationships with operating partners, work through challenges, and communicate concerns to internal leadership when expectations are not being met.Be an active participant in the creation of annual operating and capital budgets.Support our Compliance team in monitoring compliance requirements and deadlines across multiple government agencies and programs.Monitor various internal and external reporting programs and report any deviation of expectations.Participate in ad hoc projects within Asset Management as needed.QualificationsA bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Business, Finance, Real Estate, etc.)Up to 3 years of business-related experience (entry-level to early-career)Strong interest and passion for real estate finance/investingTime management, communication, and organizational skillsProficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPointStrong financial modeling skillsA proactive mindset (urgency and purpose-driven)Flexibility to travelAccountable with a high standard of workWilling to take risks and ask questionsFocused on strong, clear communicationTeam-oriented and hands-onComfortable in fast-paced, dynamic environmentsAbout Standard CommunitiesStandard Communities is one of the largest owners, investors, and developers of affordable housing in the U.S., with $6B in assets under management, nearly 30,000 units across 23 states and Washington, D.C.
