About the Role

Looking for a fast-paced 1st shift opportunity in Earth City? Express Employment Professionals is hiring a full-time Shipping Associate for a high-volume distribution center in the 63045 area.

If you thrive in active environments where accuracy matters, this role puts you at the final, crucial step of the supply chain. You will verify orders, run automated labeling/dimensioning systems, and ensure every package leaves the building on time and defect-free.

What You Will Do

Order Verification: Perform final quality checks on customer orders to ensure all items are accurate, complete, and properly packed.
WMS Scanning: Utilize RF scanners to log package tracking data and update inventory statuses in real-time.
Shipment Processing: Feed packages through automated dimensioning, weighing, and labeling equipment for carrier pickup.
Outbound Logistics: Organize and stage outgoing parcels to meet strict daily carrier deadlines and maintain on-time delivery.
Workspace Maintenance: Keep shipping lanes, packing stations, and scanning equipment clean, organized, and clear of debris.

What You Need

Scanner Experience: Prior experience using handheld RF scanners in a warehouse or fulfillment setting.
Attention to Detail: Sharp eyes for spotting picking errors, wrong labels, or damaged goods in a fast-moving environment.
Tech Aptitude: Comfortable learning and operating basic warehouse management software and computerized dimensioning systems.
Physical Capability: Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and handling packages throughout the entire shift.
Reliability: Daily punctuality and dependable transportation to Earth City, MO 63045.
Screening: Ability to pass standard pre-employment background checks and screenings.
