Associate Environmental EngineerThe Boeing Company Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Associate Environmental Engineer to join our Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) team in Berkeley, MO.Position Responsibilities:Knowledge/expertise in areas of hazardous waste, RCRA, CERCLA, waste prevention/minimization and regulatory reportingSupports the development, implementation and monitoring of environmental management systems, processes and programsWorks with others to assess the impact of emerging environmental issues on company operationsSupports site interface with state and federal regulatory agencies and environmental reportingBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Bachelor's degree or higher1+ years' experience in Environmental Engineering1+ years' experience interacting directly with state and federal regulatory agencies1+ years' experience with environmental compliance, spill response, and water qualityPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Bachelor's degree from an accredited course of study, in environmental engineering, environmental science, environmental management, biology or chemistryExperience with environmental compliance and/or regulationsHazardous Waste shipping experienceWork Location:This position is expected to be 100% onsite.
