Spa Locker Room Attendant

Position Summary - Hourly Pay Rate: $20.00

The Locker Room attendant is responsible for monitoring the locker room and public areas during operating hours and will assist all guests and members in the Spa.

Essential Functions

• Must adhere to the company's Service culture - 4 Keys to creating guests for life.
• Must participate in all hotel required meetings and trainings.
• Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which includes wearing the proper uniform/business attire and nametag.
• Greet and welcome all guests and members and offer assistance including but not limited to; issuing lockers, offering towels, assisting with lockers, steam, sauna, and guest amenities. Continue to offer assistance on an ongoing basis.
• Must be the initial and complete source of information regarding what is available at the Spa and all procedures to ensure guest comfort (i.e. treatments, equipment and products).
• Directly responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of the Spa, including ensuring facility/amenities are stocked and in proper working order.
• Monitor and assist fitness area for cleanliness as necessary.
• Maintain supplies as needed.
• Demonstrate and give complete and proper instruction on the use of steam and sauna equipment.
• Use Spa software to check guest appointments.
• Recognize and respond appropriately to emergency situations.
• Abide by all resort policies and safety rules.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.

Qualifications

• 1-year housekeeping or spa experience preferred.

Working Conditions and Schedule

• Heavy work - Exerting in excess of 30 pounds of force occasionally, and/or in excess of 30 pounds of force frequently and/or in excess of 10 pounds constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
• Must be able to stand and work for extended periods of time.
• Able to bend, stoop or reach as needed.
• Requires manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment.
• Exposure to chemicals.
