Job Summary
Labor and Delivery Nurse position available in the District of Columbia. This role involves providing specialized care in a Labor and Delivery department on a night shift schedule. The successful candidate will support patients through antepartum, labor, delivery, and postpartum phases, utilizing advanced fetal monitoring and ensuring high-quality clinical care in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details

• Location: Washington, District of Columbia
• Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Current registered nurse license in the state/district, a minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery (L&D) experience, BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications, NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification, and intermediate electronic fetal monitoring (AWHONN).
• Additional Information: Must reside at least 50 miles away from the facility. Experience with labor and delivery procedures, including admissions, transfers, and deliveries, is essential. The activity on the unit includes managing various patient care stages and utilizing fetal monitors and electronic documentation systems such as Cerner and Fetalink. The position requires flexibility to be on-call once weekly.
