Client Services Associate Mortgage Operations (Entry Level)

We are seeking a detail-oriented Client Services Associate to support mortgage document custody operations. In this role, you will serve as a key point of contact for external clients and internal partners, assisting with account management, reporting, and day-to-day client support.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary contact for client inquiries via phone and email
• Provide clear explanations of reports, file statuses, and account activity
• Maintain strong, professional relationships with clients and internal stakeholders

• Support account setup, maintenance, and ongoing oversight
• Ensure processes comply with internal policies and regulatory requirements

• Generate and review reports using Excel (including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables)
• Summarize mortgage file and collateral data for client reporting

• Review mortgage and collateral files to ensure they meet client requirements before storage
• Prepare documentation such as certifications and trust receipts
• Manage sensitive and confidential correspondence

• Research and assist with resolving client issues and discrepancies
• Collaborate with Relationship Managers on account-related matters
• Work cross-functionally with internal teams and external vendors
• Support department projects and process improvements

• Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables)
• Microsoft Outlook (email communication and request tracking)
• Word processing tools for documentation and correspondence

Required Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 2+ years of experience in financial services or professional customer service OR Bachelor's degree in lieu of experience
• Technical Skills: At least 6+ months of experience using Microsoft Office, including Excel
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the mortgage industry or working with mortgage documents
• Familiarity with financial services operations or client account management

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minneapolis, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
