Respiratory Therapist, RespiratoryARMStaffing is looking for a Respiratory Therapist, Respiratory in Beckley, West Virginia.LocationBeckley, WVAssignment DurationThis is a 13-week contract position.Schedule/ShiftNight Shift: 18:00-06:30Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week. Weekend hours required every other week.Call requirements: As needed.Job DescriptionThe Respiratory Therapist will provide care across all age groups, including geriatric, adult, and pediatric patients. This position involves working independently in a critical access hospital setting and may require the therapist to be the only RT on shift. The therapist will utilize a range of respiratory therapy techniques and procedures and will document patient interactions using an Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.ResponsibilitiesAdminister respiratory therapy treatments and medications as prescribed.Monitor and assess patient conditions, making necessary modifications to treatment plans.Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results to collaborate on patient care.Educate patients and families on respiratory care management.Participate in team meetings to discuss patient care strategies.Maintain clean and organized work areas, including respiratory therapy equipment.Required ExperienceMinimum of 1 year of experience in respiratory therapy, specifically in ER and critical care settings.Certifications/LicensureRegistered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification required.Current ACLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications are mandatory prior to starting the position.Must have the required licensure to work as an RRT in West Virginia.About ARMStaffingFounded in 2011 and a member of the ARGroup, LLC, ARMStaffing connects dedicated nurses and allied health professionals with the facilities that need them most.
