Maintenance Supervisor

The Maintenance Supervisor serves as the primary technical expert on the floor while managing the daily operations of the maintenance team. This role requires an individual who can seamlessly transition between executing complex, hands-on mechanical and electrical repairs and providing strategic leadership. The ultimate goal is to maximize equipment reliability, minimize downtime, and cultivate a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

salary: $52,000 - $73,000 per year
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
education: High School

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair food manufacturing and processing equipment with PLC-controlled
• Plan and execute preventive maintenance programs
• Lead and supervise technicians, including task assignment and on-the-job guidance
• Respond to urgent equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime
• Ensure compliance with safety, food hygiene, and regulatory requirements
• Equipment Scope Includes (but not limited to):
• Fryers and cooking systems
• Plastic bagging and packaging machines
• IQF (Individually Quick Frozen) facilities
• Cooking gas systems and regulators
• High-voltage electrical systems
• Wastewater treatment equipment

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment
• wearing steel toe shoes
• working in a non-temperature controlled environment
• manual lifting up to 50lbs
• standing for 8 hours at one time
• working weekends
