Senior Project Manager - Away Team, OperationsThe Senior Project Manager - Away Team, Operations will assume ownership for contracted services at a building or campus and will lead operational and administrative activities while maintaining effective cost control measures. This position will oversee recruiting, safety, productivity, and quality of operations.Essential FunctionsThe Senior Project Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operation and administrative activities at multiple buildings within the district. Leads Project Managers and Supervisors to ensure conformance to contract requirements. Develops and implements cost control measures and level of service standards to ensure compliance with customer specifications / contract requirements for assigned buildings. Oversees inspections, quality control measures, and the inventory control of equipment and supplies for the assigned buildings.Essential ResponsibilitiesCoordinate service activities for assigned buildings. Ensure that services are performed as contracted and at the intended profit margins.Control supplies, equipment, and personnel necessary to meet customer specifications.Interact with customers daily to obtain feedback on services and special needs. Troubleshoot potential problems and concerns.Manage the company's quality control monitoring and safety programs at the assigned buildings.Conduct quality of service inspections at assigned buildings.Attend ABM training workshops when scheduled.Develop operational improvement plans and implements process changes within assigned buildings.Attempt to increase revenue by ensuring that Project Managers and Supervisors are looking for ways to provide additional or periodic services to the customers.Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and all federal, state and local government regulations.Ensure that all paperwork, including terminations, labor variance action plans, and operational models is complete and accurate and is submitted to the district/hub in a timely manner.Analyze and manage, in a proactive manner, both the financial and the operational performance of the assigned buildings.Ensure that payroll is accurate and submitted to the appropriate payroll personnel in a timely manner and, when applicable, correct any payroll discrepancies.Work with District Manager to develop an action plan for all invoices that are outside of the contractual parameters.Ensure that vehicle inspections are performed monthly. Ensure that vehicle maintenance is scheduled and performed on all area vehicles.Manages and provides leadership to Project Managers, Supervisors, and Lead personnel assigned to the buildings.Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of personnel within the assigned buildings.Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the company's policies and applicable laws.Responsible for directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining subordinates; addressing complaints, resolving problems, and terminating employees.Establish and maintain strong client relationships with assigned account(s).Identify areas of opportunity and lead the team to implement process changes in a positive and effective manner.Promote a strong safety culture and safe work environment.Effectively recruit, manage, and lead a team of professional employees and supervisors with focus on continuous improvement.Motivate and develop the team while supporting organizational change.Ensure work assignments and schedules meet department, facility, and contractual needs; plan, develop, and assign work schedules to ensure service delivery expectations are achieved.Perform daily quality control inspections to ensure quality standards are met or exceeded.Adapt departmental plans and priorities to adapt to operational challenges.Perform time studies to optimize operational tasks, schedules, and staff allocation.Look for opportunities to increase revenue by providing additional or periodic services to the client.Drive performance management in performance reviews, setting clear job expectations, coaching and directing staff, and using disciplinary action when necessary.Special projects and other duties as assigned.QualificationsBachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.3 to 5 years of experience, including 2 years of supervisory experience.Ability to adjust work schedule as needed to support the operation.Solid business acumen and basic accounting principles.Working knowledge of OSHA safety standards and regulations.Ability to grow strong relationships across all levels of the organization.Ability to work through ambiguity and maintain composure in a variety of situations.Passion for excellence backed by a track record of accountability, collaboration, and integrity.Ability to effectively lead a staff of direct reports.Exceptional verbal and written communication, interpersonal, consultative, and negotiation skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment balancing multiple projects and embracing change.Ability to resolve issues under tight timeframes and pressure.Ability to prioritize assignments and projects and to multi-task within restricted time constraints.Excellent written and verbal communication, team building, and planning skills.Excellent time management and organizational skills, detail orientation with solid analytical, troubleshooting, and decision-making skills.Strong interpersonal skills: ability to develop productive business relationships; and ability to influence and educate key internal clients.Preferred QualificationsExperience in specialized area of assignment preferred.Bilingual Spanish (Preferred)Valid state issued driver's license.Up to 100% travelPay: 85,000 - 90,000The pay listed is the salary range for this position. Any specific offer will vary based on the successful applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.You may be eligible to participate in a Company incentive or bonus program.
