Senior Product Leader - Agency

Role Description

The Product Leader - Agency will own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for administrative agent and loan agency functions across private credit syndicated and bilateral lending activities. Reporting to the Head of Product – Private Credit, this role is responsible for delivering market-leading capabilities that enable efficient, accurate, and compliant agent services, including:

• Primary syndication support
• Notice generation and distribution
• Position updates
• Consent processing
• Paydowns
• Rate changes
• Payment waterfalls and integrations

The ideal candidate will drive the digitization and automation of agent workflows, partnering with Technology, Operations, and Architecture teams to build resilient platforms that integrate seamlessly with trading desks, custodians, trustees, borrowers, and counterparties. This leader will champion the adoption of industry standards (ISO/SWIFT, digital notices) and self-service capabilities that enhance the client and borrower experience while reducing settlement breaks, operational exceptions, and cycle times.

The role demands deep expertise in agency operations, strong vendor governance skills, and the ability to deliver measurable improvements in turnaround times, accuracy, and stakeholder satisfaction through disciplined product management, clear KPIs, and controls-by-design principles.

Qualifications

• 8–12+ years of experience in agency operations or product leadership roles within syndicated lending and private credit.
• In-depth expertise in agency standards, documentation, and workflows.
• Hands-on experience with agency platforms and market utilities.
• Proven track record of strategic build/buy/partner decision-making.
• Demonstrated success growing a high-performing, action-focused, and independent team.
• Proven track record delivering automation solutions for rate resets, position reconciliations, and position updates.
• Strong risk and control orientation.
• Advanced skills in API-first architecture and integration design.
• Executive presence and stakeholder management capabilities.

Requirements

• Run quarterly planning cycles and set OKRs.
• Apply data-driven prioritization frameworks.
• Champion controls-by-design, security, and operational resiliency.
