Collections Analyst

Prepare and distribute audit notification letters, and maintain accurate database and accounting records to track audit progress Compile and supply documentation needed by auditors, and follow up on any audits that remain incomplete Enter finalized audit results into the database, and inform employers of outcomes along with any contribution shortfalls identified Verify the accuracy of invoices submitted by auditors Process payments related to audits and outstanding delinquencies Generate and send delinquency notices to employers Partner with employers to address and resolve issues raised in delinquency correspondence Support legal counsel with administrative tasks related to collections matters Track pension overpayments through to submission and final resolution Monitor progress reports to flag contractors behind on payroll report filings, and take appropriate follow-up action Serve as the Fund's point of contact when liaising with attorneys, fund administrators, and other collections professionals to negotiate payment terms and service arrangements Follow up on employer communications, negotiate repayment terms, and draft repayment agreements as needed Escalate delinquent accounts to legal counsel per Fund guidelines, and maintain updated status on all accounts under legal review Recommend any identified employer overpayments to the Senior Audit & Collections Analyst for review Perform additional duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS 3+ years of relevant work experience preferred Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience preferred Prior experience with multiemployer trust funds or auditing is a plus Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to navigate complex situations with a positive, adaptable, and collaborative approach Responsive to leadership and stakeholders to support timely decision-making Capable of investigating and resolving issues through coordination with participants, vendors, and internal teams #J-18808-Ljbffr FTS
