Job Title: Assembler Job Description

We are seeking an assembler to join our optical connectivity department. The primary responsibility is to conduct quality control by checking pieces against blueprints, ensuring they meet the necessary requirements. The role involves plugging connectors into a testing machine, documenting the pass or fail outcomes, and the reasons for these results in a computer system.

Responsibilities

• Conduct quality control by verifying pieces against blueprints.

• Plug connectors into a testing machine and document the results.

• Record pass/fail outcomes and reasons into the computer system.

Essential Skills

• Quality control experience.

• Ability to read blueprints.

• Experience in repetitive testing.

• Documentation experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Electrical assembly experience.

• Experience with PCB/flexible circuit boards.

• Experience testing electrical connections.

• Skills in blueprint reading, electrical wiring, and soldering.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Naperville, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
